Tommy Walsh discusses the treatment of his toe by Trevor Prior
I had the pleasure of having Ground Force star, Tommy Walsh, as a patient at Homerton University Hospital. He was a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to treat. So when he asked if I could discuss his case with a journalist, I was more than happy to assist. The full story can be read here.

Premier Podiatry first clinic in the UK to offer the TrueContour orthoses
We are proud to announce that we are the first clinic in the UK to introduce TrueContourTM insoles for the prevention of foot ulceration in patients with diabetes.
These insoles are made from a scan of the shape of the foot and the pressure pattern recorded underneath the foot whilst walking. The combination of this information allows the production of insoles that have been shown to significantly reduce the pressure beneath the site of previous ulcers more effectively than traditional insoles1.
More impressively, in a multicentre randomised controlled study, these insoles were 3.4 times more effective at preventing re-ulceration than traditional insoles.
For the first time, we are able to provide state of the art evidence based care to prevent the significant risk of ulceration, infection and potential loss of limb. With over 30 years of experience in managing diabetic foot complications and preventing amputation we can provide a complete management package for patients with diabetes.
